On Tuesday, July 12, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington wrapped up the 2015-2016 JA® Bowl-A-Thon season with an Awards and Recognition Reception at Cesco Osteria in Bethesda, Maryland. 

At the event, hosted by Bowl Committee Chair and JA Board of Directors Secretary, Mike Steinitz of Robert Half, Steinitz announced that, all together, JA bowlers raised over $515,000 during the 2015-2016 Bowl-A-Thon season, the highest total dollars raised in JA of Greater Washington's history. 

Today, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington is excited to announce the launch of the first ever JA Bowl-A-Thon pop-up digital raffle. 

This pop-up contest will run through June 15 and anyone may participate. So whether you've bowled, volunteered in the classroom or at one of our region's JA Finance Park® facilities, or just thought about getting involved in the future, this is an opportunity for you to inspire the next generation with the financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship skills to thrive in the future.

Today, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington announced that this Bowl season, every company, every team, and every individual will be competing against other companies in the District, Maryland, and Virginia for bragging rights and prizes as part of the first annual Junior Achievement® Bowl-a-Thon Regional Competitions. Currently, the 2016 Junior Achievement® Bowl-a-Thon season is shaping up to be the best in history. And now, JA® has decided to raise the stakes.
