A new national survey finding that teen drivers lack basic knowledge of automobile finance and total vehicle ownership costs has sparked Junior Achievement USA (JA) and American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) to create a new website, www.financialtestdrive.org, to help young drivers navigate the financial aspects of owning and maintaining a vehicle. JA and AHFC launched the new web tool as JA released the findings of the recent survey they commissioned.

Junior Achievement® Essay Competition Runs Through December 8, Will Award $110,000 in Scholarships and Grants
This fall, Junior Achievement®, in partnership with David M. Rubenstein, will launch the 2015 Junior Achievement Essay Competition. Open to our region's students in 9th-12th grade, 9 students will win a $10,000 scholarship. One grand prize winner will receive a $20,000 scholarship. In addition, from each of DC, MD, and VA, the school with the greatest number of eligible applications will receive a $6,000 grant. Since its founding in 2008, David M. JA Finance Park® Prince George's County Opens in Landover
On September 29th, JA Finance Park® welcomed a group of eighth graders from Benjamin Tasker Middle School as its first students to take part in the innovative experiential experience and become the first JA Finance Park® Prince George's County graduates. Volunteers from Washington Gas gave their time and energy to guide these young people through the simulation, adding their stories and experiences to bring the program to life.
CrossKnowledge Partners with JA USA® to Support Future Entrepreneurs
Junior Achievement USA and CrossKnowledge—the distance learning brand of John Wiley and Sons, Inc.—today announced a joint partnership that will bring digital learning solutions to thousands of students and educators. As part of the agreement, CrossKnowledge has donated the use of its Learning Management System (LMS) to Junior Achievement USA (JA) for the next five years (starting in 2016) through the CrossKnowledge Foundation. This in-kind contribution is one of the largest of its kind in the history of JA.

This year, American Graduate Day will feature JA alumnus Joseph Fortuno. Joseph got involved with Junior Achievement of Northern California through the JA Company Program®. When Joseph first joined his JA company, he had been homeless. Herban Movement, a student led enterprise from Hercules High School in Northern California, was developed by students through the JA Company Program as an entrepreneurial experience for Hercules High students

Junior Achievement, Citi Foundation and OneMain Financial Offer Teens New Online Experience to Explore their Futures
Junior Achievement USA® (JA) unveiled an online experience today that is a one-stop shop for teens and their parents in helping them make decisions that will affect their futures. The new interactive web experience, called JA My WayTM, is made possible by a grant from the Citi Foundation and OneMain Financial.
