Greater Washington Futures (September/October): Happy birthday!

50 years. That's how long Junior Achievement of Greater Washington has been inspiring generations of young people to navigate their path to the American Dream. Almost 800,000 kids since 1965!

In just a few short weeks, we'll be opening Maryland's first financial literacy supercenter, JA Finance Park® Prince George's County, where 9.000 students per year will become financially capable. But our work doesn't end there.

This year, we will deliver our programs to over 63,000 of our region's young people in the classroom, at JA Finance Park® Fairfax County and Prince George's County, and through the JA Job Shadow® program.

For our 50th birthday, there is no better gift you can give JA® than your time and energy as a JA® Hero volunteer. If we want to inspire kids to be financially capable, arm them with the skills to be ready for a career, and challenge them to think with an entrepreneurial mind, it's going to take people like you. There's no better year to sign up to be a JA volunteer

Let's make our 50th year our best year yet. Are you in?
