ABOUT
Join the 2021-22 JA Company Program® students as they debut their startups to the public at the annual JA Trade Show! In this interactive marketplace, students will display, demonstrate and discuss their innovative products and services in the hopes of building brand awareness, connecting with the local community, and of course, making sales!
The general public is invited to support our students by exploring the digital expo booths, asking questions, voting in Audience Choice Award polls, and making online purchases.
A panel of judges from the local business community will evaluate student booths, sales pitches and commercials to determine which teams will win awards, including:
Best Overall Performance: This award will go to the team that most effectively showcases their company to the public through their product pitch, their ability to share lessons learned, and their virtual trade show booth display.
Best Commercial: This award will go to the team whose commercial most creatively and engagingly informs viewers of their product/service, with the goal of convincing viewers to purchase their product.
Schedule Overview
10:30 - 11:00am: Kick Off
Visit the "Stage" tab in Hopin to hear introductory remarks by JA staff and watch the company commercials!
11:00am - 2:30pm: JA Trade Show
Visit the "Expo" tab to explore the student company booths, ask questions via video or chat box, and make online purchases through the company websites.
2:45 - 3:00pm: Award Presentation
Join all attendees in the "Stage" tab for the culminating awards ceremony where we will recognize the top performing JA companies!
