Junior Achievement of Greater Washington’s Ed Grenier Announces Plans to Retire

Washington, DC – Ed Grenier, President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington since 1996, announced that he will be retiring from the organization in December 2024. As part of the transition, he will be stepping back from his day-to-day role as CEO of the organization, effective April 17, 2024, and assuming the position of CEO Emeritus to lead strategic initiatives, including fundraising projects, during his remaining tenure with the organization. Lynne Ford, who serves on the JA of Greater Washington board of directors, will assume the role of interim CEO while the search for Mr. Grenier’s successor begins.

Over the course of a week, students gathered at JA Finance Park in Prince George’s County and collaborated on how to address the following social causes; mental and physical health, homelessness, pollution, and climate change.
