All applications, verifications of school enrollment, and essays must be recieved by Junior Achievement by this time.

Application Instructions

  1. Application Information: Send in your application information at any point in time between August 16 and 11:59 a.m. on September 30, 2010 using the form below. You must complete this form before verifying your school enrollment or submitting your essay. After submitting your application information, you will be assigned an ID Code.

  2. Verification of School Enrollment: Provide your ID Code to a teacher, guidance counselor, or other official at your high school and ask her/him to verify your enrollment. The verification of school enrollment must be completed after you have sent in your application information and no later than 11:59 a.m. on September 30, 2010.

  3. Essay Submission: Submit your essay to Junior Achievement. The essay must be submitted after you have sent in your application information and no later than 11:59 a.m. on September 30, 2010.



Applicants, please use the form below to submit your application information at any point in time between August 16, 2010 and 11:59 a.m. on September 30, 2010. You must complete this form before verifying your school enrollment or submitting your essay. Unless otherwise noted, all fields are required.

This information is being collected for the purposes of notification of contacting winners and administering the Junior Achievement Essay Competition. We do not make this information publicly available or use it for marketing purposes.

No essay will be given preference over any other essay on the basis of an applicant's name, school, grade, gender, race, ethnicity, geographic origin, or any legally protected status.

By selecting "Agree," you confirm that you are the parent or guardian of the Applicant; that you have read, understand, and agree to the Official Rules governing the Junior Achievement Essay Competition; that you consent to the Applicant's entrance into the essay competition; that you confirm that the Applicant's work is original and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others; that you understand that the Applicant's essay will be reviewed by the SafeAssign by Blackboard plagiarism prevention service; that you understand that the Applicant's essay will become the intellectual property of Junior Achievement upon submission; and that you agree that the decision of the judging committee will be binding.
