Junior Achievement's programs are designed to inspire and prepare students from Kindergarten through 12th grade to succeed in a global economy. They are taught by trained volunteer role models from the local community - including business professionals, parents, and college students - using professionally designed and rigorously evaluated curriculum materials. Programs are typically presented by JA's volunteers for 30-45 minutes each week for five to seven weeks, with the exact time commitments dependent upon the grade level of the students.

JA programs give students the opportunity to practice cooperation, teamwork, decision-making, and leadership skills through numerous exciting hands-on activities. The programs fully correlate with state educational content standards and have been endorsed by many local Superintendents, as well as the educators, volunteers, and students who experience them.

Junior Achievement's programs focus on the key content areas of financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. They are easy to implement, and volunteers and educators will receive ongoing support from JA staff throughout the program.
