In 2006, Junior Achievement Worldwide partnered with Capital One to bring the JA Finance Park curriculum to students across the nation using a mobile version of the program. Over the past three years, Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area has invited local eighth grade students to participate in the mobile Finance Park. Here's what the students who visited in early 2009 thought of their experiences, in their own words:

I thought Finance Park was a great experience that I will never forget. It is really well organized and a very helpful program for upcoming adults. I would love to come back and do it all over again. Thank you so much for the opportunity!

I learned so much from Finance Park. I learned how to manage and keep track of money, and much more. I hope more kids would take the time to really try to see the importance of finance. It's what makes the world go 'round. Thank you Finance Park!

Finance Park helped me learn the value of money better and how to spend money smartly.

I thought Finance Park was a good way to prepare ourselves for our financial future, and gave us a basic knowledge of finance and proper money-management.

Junior Achievement was fun! I liked feeling like an adult and it was a very fun experience. Now I will not take advantage of my parents because I see how complicated all of this is!

My experience here at Finance Park was a very delightful one. This was a very good life lesson that I will put to use in the future. The budgeting was very simple and straightforward, but very effective and helpful. Thank you!

I think that the Finance Park trip was an enjoyable way to learn about my future. I now am better prepared for the world than I would be without Finance Park.

I thought Finance Park was a great learning experience for me. It showed me how hard it is to balance a budget! It was challenging at times, but I still enjoyed it : )
