James G. Lott is the Human Resources Manager for UPS in the Metro D.C. District – which includes Delaware, Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. The Metro D.C. corridor is one of the five fastest growing areas of the country and is home to some of the largest public, private and commercial organizations.
James began his career at UPS in 1979 as a part-time package handler in Jackson, Mississippi while attending college. At UPS, it is common for those in managerial positions to work their way through the organization, often beginning their careers unloading, loading, sorting and delivering packages.
Throughout his 29-year career at UPS, James has held a series of managerial assignments including Human Resources Manager in International, South Carolina and Metro D.C. Districts. James holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
